About the flag

A red arrow (La Falange) that crosses vertically two lines (that represent capitalism and communism symbolizing a new way between the 2 systems) on a white rhombus and blue background to complement the colors of the Chilean flag.
Uriel González Inostroza, 16 Jul 2006

Deep blue flag with a white lozenge centred inside, and within the lozenge, a red arrow or phalanx, upwards, crossing through two rectangles, also in red. These two rectangles are said to be the left and the right, which are surpassed by Christian Democracy. This flag also exists with the lozenge lying, but I’m not sure where the arrow points in that case.
Guillermo Tell Aveledo, 07 Sep 2000

A similar symbol is used by other Christian Democratic Parties.
Francisco Gregoric, 05 Dec 2005

The website of Teletrece, 6 January 2006, shows a picture of the flag of the party with the symbol directly placed on the blue field, without the white lozenge.

There is currently a controversy in Chile because of the presence of the flag of Democracia Cristiana (DC) during meetings of Sebastián Piñera, a candidate to the presidential election.
